First song I heard from them, and to this day, remains to be my favorite. Every lyrical word in this song I can relate to and will never change the way I love.

“It’s fear of the unknown. The unknown is what it is. And to be frightened of it is what sends everybody scurrying around chasing dreams, illusions, wars, peace, love, hate, all that—it’s all illusion. Unknown is what it is. Accept that it’s unknown and it’s plain sailing. Everything is unknown—then you’re ahead of the game. That’s what it is. Right?”
~John Lennon

In love with you — By Erykah Badu feat., Stephen Marley

What is love…

All intimacy is rare — that’s what makes it precious. And it involves the revelation of one’s self and the loving gaze upon another’s true self (no makeup, no fancy car, no defensive charm, no seduction) — that’s what makes it so damn hard. Intimacy requires honesty and kindness in almost equal measure (a little more kindness, I think), trust and trustworthiness, forgiveness and the capacity to be forgiven . . . It’s more than worth it — just don’t let them tell you it’s bliss.

We never know when a moment in life will change things forever. When your heart will break for the first time or for the thousandths. If it’s the 1st or your last, it will always hurt. Never give up hope. For at the end of the day H O P E is all we have.

This is one of my favorite bands and one of my favorite songs from them.
